Which leash is best for my dog, which one should I buy?

The first thing to consider when choosing a lead for walking your dog is its weight, temperament and your lifestyle.

If you have a large dog and energetic character, we recommend the multi-position leash as it is made of strong Italian leather and features iron fittings; we also recommend it if you walk two dogs at the same time or if you want to keep your hands free (you can carry it cross-body like a handbag without the need to use your hands).

If, on the other hand, your dog is very, very small (mini or toy size) and you need a light and thin leash, we advise you to get a toy combination leash.

Finally, our matching leashes are perfect for any shot, breed and size of dog.

What are our dog leashes made of?

All our walking leashes are made by selecting high quality cowhide with a thickness of 2.8-3mm which guarantees extra strength and durability. The rings and carabiners are made of iron and are manufactured in Italy, a few kilometres from our factory. In fact, our supplier (with whom we have been working for more than 20 years) double-dips all our iron fittings to ensure maximum resistance.

Which leash is best for a puppy?

Depending on the weight and size of the puppy, we recommend any of our leashes as they are perfect from the first day he goes outside.

If your puppy weighs more than 2.5 kilos, we recommend the combinable leash + handle, the multi-position leash or the classic Rocco leash: all three options are perfect as they are strong leashes.

If your puppy is a small breed and, therefore, its baby weight is less than 2 kilos, we recommend that you opt for a toy set with a combinable leash + toy handle. It is the lightest and most comfortable option for the first walks.

Attention As your puppy grows, check that the lead is suitable for his weight, behaviour and size. If it doesn't, replace it with one that is more appropriate for your puppy's stage of development.
