All our walking leads are made fromhigh-quality cowhide leather with a thickness of 2.8 - 3mm, ensuring extra strength and durability. The rings and snap hooks are made of iron and are manufactured in Italy, just a few kilometers from our factory. In fact, our supplier (with whom we have been working for over 20 years) applies a double protective coating to all our hardware to ensure maximum strength.

Depending on the weight and size of your puppy, we recommend any of our leads as they are perfect from the first day out on the street.

If your puppy weighs more than 2.5 kg, we recommend the standard classic lead or the standard hands free lead: both options are perfect as they are durable leads.

f your puppy is a small breed and therefore weighs less than 2 kg, we advise opting for a toy hands free or classic lead. It is the lightest and most comfortable option for the first walks.

Attention! As your puppy grows, check that the lead adapts to their weight, behaviour, and size. If it does not, change it for one that is more suitable for your dog’s current stage.

To ensure the longevity of your dog’s lead, follow these maintenance tips:

• Regular cleaning: Wipe the lead with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. If the lead gets very dirty, you can use a specific leather cleaner, following the product instructions.

• Proper drying: If the lead gets wet, allow it to air dry in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight or heat sources that could damage the material.

• Hardware inspection: Regularly check the condition of the rings and clips to ensure there are no signs of wear or damage. If you find any issues, replace them immediately to guarantee safety during walks.

• Storage: Store the lead in a dry, cool place when not in use, avoiding damp areas or extreme conditions that could affect the quality of the leather.
